Does Santa Claus take great photos?
Santa specializes in great pictures. We have a number of tricks and techniques to get great photos with the children and all you loved ones.
Does Santa have a sack? How can we get our
presents in there?
Santa carries a bag to fill with gifts for your guests. The capacity for Santa’s bag is equivalent to a 40-gallon trash bag. If you have more presents than this, please let us know. It is usually better to hide them behind the tree, or assign someone to assist Santa in carrying the gifts in.
What days does Santa work?
Santa is so busy this time of year that he works everyday until Christmas Eve at midnight. Santa does go back to the North Pole Christmas Day to be with Mrs. Claus.
How long does Santa stay?
Santa usually visits with your guests for 45 minutes to an hour, generally depending on how many guests would like to share their wish list with Santa. On Christmas Eve, Santa can only stay 20 minutes, since he’s so busy!
Where should Santa sit?
The best place to have Santa is a large chair, preferably next to the Christmas tree for great pictures. Its always great to have a smaller chair or step stool next to him. This way, children can choose to sit on Santa’s lap, or sit next to him.
What does Santa do during a visit?
Santa greets the guests, delivers presents, performs magic, takes pictures, sings carols and reads a story. Of course, should you have any special requests, please let us know and we’ll do our best to make it happen!
Our little one is very shy, and we think that he or
she may be afraid of Santa. Do you have any
suggestions as to what we should do?
Its natural to be a little shy around Santa when you’re so little and he’s so big. Santa’s beard may also be something children aren’t used to, and it’s a daunting experience to say the least! Santa suggests you allow the children to warm up to him on their time, and to never force a child to be any closer to Santa then they’re comfortable with. If you know they may be hesitant, but don’t want them to miss out, a good idea is to help them write a list that can be given to Santa from a distance. In terms of pictures, its usually best to try after other guests have gone, so that they can feel more comfortable. We also recommend you have a large chair for Santa, and a smaller one next to him so the children can choose to either sit on his lap or next to him in their own chair.
Can Santa deliver presents?
Santa is a delivery specialist! If there are presents to be handed out, Santa can call you a few minutes before he arrives so you can put them outside. Santa suggests putting a few presents outside (enough to fit in a 40 gallon bag), and leaving the rest under the tree, or have another guest assist Santa Claus in his delivery. This allows Santa to fit through the door smoothly (he is a big guy!), and once the first present from Santa’s sack is delivered, younger guests are just excited to receive their gifts from Santa.
Does Santa sing?
Santa is a trained baritone, and will lead your guests in caroling some of their favorite Christmas tunes.
My children are at the age where they’re not sure
if Santa is real. What should I tell them about his
visit?
The thing to remember is that Santa represents the spirit of Christmas, and he’s there to give not only gifts, but bring the spirit of fellowship and good tidings that mark the season. It never hurts to remind the children how important Santa’s visit is to the younger children as well.
How old is Santa?
As old as his nose, but slightly older than his teeth!
